ProNet Biotech (Pronetbio) Co., Ltd., also known as Nanjing Ruiyuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd., was established in 2019 and is headquartered in Xianlin Zhigu, Qixia District, Nanjing. The company is co-founded by a group of pioneering research teams and institutions, each bringing over 5 years of expertise in life science research services.

ProNet Biotech specializes in yeast technology and molecular interaction research, providing cutting-edge solutions through proprietary platforms such as high-throughput yeast interaction, yeast secretion expression, and yeast surface display. Our focus on yeast technology allows us to excel in areas like molecular pairing, antibody discovery, protein synthesis, and enzyme engineering. Unlike other companies with diverse but scattered focuses, our dedication to yeast applications has enabled us to achieve significant advancements in this field.

In 2022, we established the "Institute of Biosynthesis Process Technology" in collaboration with Nanjing Agricultural University, further cementing our commitment to advancing biosynthesis and biotechnology. By continuously enhancing yeast strain modifications and optimizing transformation processes, we have broken international monopolies and significantly pushed the boundaries of yeast technology, particularly in large-scale molecular interactions and biosynthesis.

In 2023, ProNet Biotech expanded into international markets, forming a dedicated International Business Department. Our services now reach clients across major currency regions, including the US dollar, euro, pound sterling, and Singapore dollar zones. Despite being a young company, our key researchers hold master's and Ph.D. degrees from top Chinese universities and have published extensively in leading journals like Cell. This expertise and our collaborative projects with world-renowned laboratories highlight our position as a trusted partner in the global scientific community.

• ★October 2025: To meet the growing demands of business development, ProNet Biotech officially launched the independent operation of its subsidiary, Nanjing Webiolotech Testing Technology Co., Ltd., starting from October 2025. ★January 2025: To strengthen localized services and expand its national footprint, ProNet Biotech established offices in the capital cities of all 31 provincial-level administrative regions across China.

2024

• ★September 2024: Granted a new invention patent for a novel method of constructing yeast membrane libraries based on plant samples.

2023

• ★June 2023: The Molecular Research Center was established at Building E6, Jiangsu Life Science Innovation Park, occupying a laboratory space of approximately 2,000 square meters.

2022

• ★December 2022: Headquarters relocated to Building 3C, Nanjing Xianlin Zhigu, with a total office area of about 1,700 square meters. ★December 2022: Recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise in China. ★July 2022: Jointly established the Institute of Biosynthesis Process Technology with Nanjing Agricultural University.

2021

• ★December 2021: The Physical & Chemical Analysis Center was launched at Building D7, Jiangsu Life Science Innovation Park, covering 1,500 square meters of laboratory space. ★March 2021: Filed 27 patents across biotechnology, pharmaceutical technology, disinfectants, and food technology. One of the patents—on microbial transformation using gene-editing technology to produce high-efficiency enzymes—was awarded as an Outstanding Invention Patent in Jiangsu Province.
